Inglewood was originally a timber town and was known for a diverse range of ethnic origins of it's early settlers. The town is 19km southeast of New Plymouth, 19km west of Kerikeriringa Pa and 8km southwest of Pukerangiora Pa. Inglewood is also home to the National Toy Museum.
