Great Barrier Island is located 90km northeast of Auckland and is accessible by plane or ferry. The island boasts rugged, untouched beauty. The Department of Conservation maintains over 100km of public walking tracks throughout subtropical rainforests. The island also features white sandy beaches with surfing, fishing and diving.
