Thames Racecourse

Thames Racecourse is home to the Thames Jockey Club which holds one meeting per year in January. Located at the entrance to the picturesque Kauearnga Valley in Thames on the Coromandal Peninsula, this is the perfect summer venue with a picnic atmosphere, 'No suits or ties required'.

Track Details: A right handed 1610m track with a 320m straight.

Directions: Turn right from the main road into Banks Street (Toyota Car Factory on left, BP Service station on right), take second turn on right on to Parawai Road and follow this road to the racecourse.
