Little Barrier Island (Hauturu)
Little Barrier Island is a mountainous, densely forested island sanctuary situated 85 km northeast of Auckland, between Kawau Island and Great Barrier Island. It is approximately 2,817 hectares in area with a peak of of 722 metres. A permit is required to visit.
